This robotized machine is fed by an operator, who loads the batch of parts into the cell’s hopper. The parts are distributed one by one and are handled by the robotized arm. They pass under different cameras and angles at high speedness: 1.66 sec cycle time per item.

The images are processed and trigger the sorting. The good part is placed in a tray, the bad one drops into a container under the cell. The trays are piled up and sent to the exit.

Initially developped for the inspection of small plastic parts, this machine can be reproduced for other kind of parts or materials.
